Homework: Chapter 1 of 1984 by George Orwell
The review I thought was the best was the In memoriam one the third one we read. I liked this one because they fully explained the things that should be in an review. Also this review helped me understand more about the movie.
ReplyDeleteI think the second review is the best because it goes in depth, but the third one is also good because it talks about the actors and how they portrayed the characters. The second one talks about why they gave them that score and how the movie had a build-up, how the other stories led to the end of some of the main heroes.
ReplyDeleteI think that the second was the best one. The third one was constantly contradicting itself and was quite confusing. The first one was pure plot summary. The second one on the other hand had a decent amount of analysis, was clear, and was the best out of the three.

I personally liked the last one the best. Although it may have been a little contradictory, it included a lot of analysis and not just vague plot summary. It included details about acting and the specific actors throughout the film.
ReplyDeleteI believe the third review was the best review because it had the most information about the actors and addressed both good and bad aspects of the movie. It has analysis and not just plot summary, unlike the first one. Even though I think it was the best, it also contradicted itself at times and could be confusing.
ReplyDeleteI believe the second review was the best because it focused on more on specific details than the first while the third one contradicted itself often.
ReplyDeleteI personally believe that the third review was the best. Yes, they all had their own faults, but this one seemed to do it the best. Despite the confusion of the stars it actually gave it some criticism. The author focused on both the actors and the flow of the plot. It didn't just focus on the good, it looked to find places where the movie could be improved.
ReplyDeleteI think that it was the third review because it had actual analysis and not just plot summary, and took an in-depth look at the spoiler-free aspects of the film. The review actually had substance and wasn't generic. The one problem I had was that it often contradictory, confusing, and hard to follow.
ReplyDeleteThe third review was the best because it actually talked about the pros and cons of the movie instead of just writing a vague summary. It talked about why the movie was satisfying and had specific reasons why it liked the acting. The other ones didn´t talk about anything.
ReplyDeletePS: KIT HARRINGTON = UGLY
The third review was the best of three with the second review being really close. I felt that the third review not only spoke about the ups of the *garbage* film but its downs as well. Though at times confusing, his reasons were solid for the most part.
